your A/C unit is out of date or failing to cool your house,
FPL wants to help. FPL offers a credit of up to $1100 towards
your new unit, and will follow up with you after we finish
your upgrade. They'll also help detect A/C duct leaks and
improve your insulation.

Den-Air's progressive split-system unit has been rated as Energy Efficient by the IRS. Any of these units placed into service before January 1, 2010 will result in a Den-Air stimulus credit of $300. -
- Obama Administration - The American Reinvestment and
Recovery Act allows a $1500 tax credit
for Energy Efficient upgrades, including
A/C units, pool pumps, and window
treatments.
It makes sense to buy into energy efficiency now, while a tax credit is in place, before the 2010 mandatory switch to higher energy efficiency. The EPA has announced the mandatory phase-out of the use of ozone-harming refrigerant R-22, which will be replaced with more ozone-friendly R410A.
